!! MC SPARKZ INTERVIEW AND MIX !!
COXEY: Here we are again on another East Coast-Promotions interview quest. Today we have MC Sparkz to enlighten us about himself with not only an interview but with a Special Mix attached also!!
WEBBO 1: "Hey Luke thanks for doing this with us and for the ravers. Right, your first question… What made you first pick up a mic?"
SPARKZ: "When I realized I couldn't sing or DJ lol. Na I have always been around music from a young age and found that it motivated me, but around 1998 I started MCing to UK Garage in which everyone was doing 'cos it was fuckin' huge at the time with acts like SO Solid Crew and DJ EZ :) NUFF RESPEKT!"
WEBBO 2: "What do you like, and hate, about the scene mostly on a whole?"
SPARKZ: "I like the music OBVIOUSLY haha. I massively respect the people putting on the party's 'cos I no they aren't easy to do :)
There's a lot of bullshit involved in Hardcore which I keep my Self distanced from. If no one knows ya business, no one can slate ya business. I don't do politics it's for girls!"
COXEY 3: "Right Luke, you're in the HTID in the Sun Ravin' Eye MC Comp. Tell the ravers what to expect from you and how you're going to smash it?"
SPARKZ: "Well I like to think I have a unique style of MCing which is different from what a lot of other MC's are doing. I think there's more to MCing than jus shouting rhymes into a mic and thinkin ya bad boi. That's jus my opinion lol. I think it's how you say ya lyrics and you have to mean, believe and have experienced what ya writing about. I am also trying to push my trade mark-tongue twisting that I WANA GET HEARD so expect SUMMTHIN FRESH AND INIVITAVE!!"
COXEY 4: "Who have you worked with before and what projects/events have you been involved with?"
SPARKZ: "To be fair I have done loads of both MCing and promoting. I started as a b2b partnership with MC Static (back in da day ha-ha). I've played amazing events like Fantazia NYE/Total Bedlam/Natural Born Ravers/Sundissential. I've promoted loads of events such as Happiness Hardcore with Malcolm Smilez who got me my first MC gig. (NUFF RESPECT BRUVA), Fluffy/We're Hardcore and Diskotek!
I have MC'd for amazing DJ's. I don't need to name drop ha-ha (DJ Sy, Brisk, Seduction blah blah blah). Na I respect everyone I work with big or small as long as they work with you not against you if ya gets me?"
COXEY 5: "What have you got planned got planned for the rest of this year in terms of your MCing and projects you're up too?"
SPARKZ: "Well obviously I want to get heard more on the UK circuit and to get on the main stage:)
I got loads of new mixes in the pipe line alongside my partner in crime DJ Koopa and maybe some tracks as well, but I have a lot going on outside the UK with Ayia Napa which a booking I'm very excited about. This is going to be the first time UL Hardcore has dropped in 'Napa. I have loads on the promotion front as well as I am now working closely a promotion company called 'Europa Events Promotion and Management'. These people have worked alongside some of the biggest clubs in Europe i.e. BCM.
Together we have created a brand new UK Hardcore brand SENSATION HARDCORE and 
we got some big things planned for it so watch this space! Currently the Sensation brand is hosting 2 dates in Ayia Napa on the 5th and 20th August at Club Heaven and Hell with Joey Riot and MC Whizzkid, then for the UK launch we will be hosting the main arena at the LTD Weekender on the 8th October at Pontins."
COXEY: "Bloody hell mate, you have some massive things for us all to keep 'em peeled for then?! I for one will be checking in on everything you have for us. So your not only pushing yourself personally as an MC but the UK Hardcore scene on a whole. Big Respect for this man! I will now pass you over to Webbo who will take you through his renowned 'Webbo's Random Round'."

WEBBO: "If you could take David Cameron to a rave what event would you take him too?"
SPARKZ: "Living The Dream Weekender 08-11th October 2010 at Pontins, Prestatyn" lol
WEBBO: "If you could rename Buckingham palace wat would you call it?"
SPARKZ: "Pass" lol
WEBBO: "Do you reckon the queen would cut it as an Hardcore mc?"
SPARKZ: "On Christmas day yes. I got bare love for the Queen (ASK NELZA ha-ha)"
